Join us tonight\, Monday\, November 11\, at 6 PM at 3600 Central Ave\, St. Pete\, for Support Space—an evening of community\, connection\, and conversation for trans and gender-expansive individuals and their immediate loved ones. \nAt Support Space\, we provide a welcoming environment for connection\, conversation\, and understanding. Each month\, trans and gender-expansive folx and their loved ones gather to share stories\, offer support\, and build community. This is a safe space for all to express themselves openly and find strength in solidarity. Whether it’s your first time attending or you’re a regular\, we welcome you to join our growing community. This annual memorial gathering is dedicated to reflection\, remembrance\, and building a supportive community. \nWhat to Expect at the St. Petersburg Transgender Day of Remembrance:\nThe event will begin at the Sunshine Senior Center with a candlelight vigil. From there\, we will proceed to City Hall\, where a ceremony will be held to commemorate lives lost. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own candles to add to the evening’s light and unity. \nThis event is open to all allies\, family\, and community members who wish to stand with the transgender community in solidarity. It’s a meaningful time for healing\, reflection\, and supporting each other as we continue the fight for safety and inclusion. \nAdditional Information:\nThe Transgender Day of Remembrance in St. Petersburg is part of a global effort to raise awareness and foster resilience.
