St. Pete Pride Trans March 2024: Celebrating Unity and Visibility
On June 22, 2024, TransNetwork joined forces with TransAction Florida and TransFest to lead the inspiring St. Pete Pride Trans March 2024. This event celebrated the visibility, resilience, and unity of the trans and gender-diverse community.

Set against a challenging political climate, our marchers gathered to affirm our right to exist freely and proudly, creating a moving display of support and solidarity. Participants marched from Vinoy Park along Bayshore Drive, proudly displaying banners, flags, and signs in support of trans rights. Over one hundred people—including trans and gender-nonconforming individuals, allies, and families—joined the event, creating a sea of unwavering support and visibility.

As our Co-Founder Andy Citino shared:
“The Trans March envisions a world where all trans and gender non-conforming people are safe, loved, and empowered. Today, we are closer to that vision as we stand together in solidarity.”
Highlighting the Energy and Style of St. Pete’s Pride Event
This year, TransNetwork leaders wore custom-branded pink, blue, and white baseball jerseys with matching caps and new kicks in our signature colors. Andy and Lilith brought added flair by riding two big tricycles streaming trans flags behind them, while Devika proudly wore a trans flag as a cape. The crowd’s energy was palpable, with cheers and respect radiating for our community and the causes we represent.
